Meeting / Chili Cook-off
Meeting
will be held in the clubhouse at Carillon at Cambridge Lakes, 1865
Andrew Dr, Pingree Grove. Feel free
to bring your favorite Chili or Soup to share…and maybe a power
strip. Entries will be judged by
all with awards, prizes or just a firm handshake given out to the
winners. Don’t have a favorite
chili/soup to bring? No worries,
bring some crackers, appetizers, munchies or sweets.
We
are requesting an RSVP so we can get a headcount. Water and soda will be provided…NO
alcohol allowed! Setup will be 2:30-3:00pm,
dinner/social time from 3:00-4:30pm and our general meeting to

14th - Saturday – Durty Nellie’s St. Pat’s Parade in Palatine
Parade
lineup will be at 10:00am at Sanborn Elementary School, 101 N Oak St,
Palatine. Parade kickoff is at
11:00am and will end at Durty Nellie’s.
We are looking for 4-5 convertible SGMFC vehicles to

Show-n-Shine at 2:00pm (weather permitting) with the dinner/social time
from 3:00-4:00pm and our general meeting to follow.
Dinner
is a buffet, $19/person-$18/senior (does not includes tax/tip). Buffet includes pizza, fried chicken,
sides/salad/dressing and desserts.

Veterans at 10:30am and parade kickoff is at 11:00am. We would like 4-6 SGMFC convertibles

May 30th - Saturday – SuperDawg Drive-In Car Club

night is from 3:00 - 7:00pm at the Wheeling Superdawg Drive-In, 333 S

Parade
meetup will be at 12:00pm at Turnbull Woods Forest Preserve, on Green
Bay Rd just south of County Line Rd, Glencoe. Parade lineup at 12:30pm and kickoff
is at 1:00pm. We would like to
have 4-6 convertibles for parade VIP’s and 4-6 additional cars for
additional club representation.

4th – Saturday – Hoffman Estates July 4th Parade
Parade
lineup will be at 8:15am at 560 Paris Lane, Hoffman Estates. Parade kickoff is at 9:00am. Parade route is ~1 mile long along
Illinois Blvd, ~1.5 hrs and they do not require us to carry any
guests. We would like to have
4-6 cars for club representation.

Frontier Days Festival
Held
at Recreation Park, 500 E Miner St, Arlington Heights. We are looking for 8-10 volunteers to
work the Backyard Grill food venue from 4:00 – 9:00pm. Help earn $8.50/hr to raise funds for
donation to our charity OSOTA.

1st – Saturday – Glory Bound Rescue Ranch 5th Annual Car Show
All
makes & model show (cars, bikes, trucks, tractors, bicycles,
etc). Show is held at Kishwaukee
Brewing Co, 1900 Dillard Court, Woodstock, IL. Registration is $15, spectators are
free. Awards, goody bags, local
craft & direct sales vendors, music, food & drinks, raffles
& 50/50, enough room for more than 200 vehicles. Bring an unopened bag of Pedigree Dog
Food and receive 2 raffle tickets for any basket on the table. ALL proceeds go to Glory Bound Rescue
Ranch (501c3)! For more
